Wood brings natural color and texture, especially in a wood-and-metal fence. At tall heights, moisture movement, warping, maintenance, board retention, and wind loads deserve extra attention. A metal frame can organize the infill, but it does not eliminate wood's normal movement or the need for structural review.
4. Composite or WPC infill
Composite can provide a consistent, lower-maintenance appearance. It is heavier than some panel options and can expand, contract, or require specific support and fastening details. Confirm manufacturer compatibility; tall configurations must be structurally reviewed rather than extrapolated from a standard fence layout.
5. Vinyl infill

6. Aluminum framing
